About Tennis
Tennis is a fast-paced racket sport played between two players (singles) or four players (doubles). The goal is simple: hit the ball over the net and into your opponent’s court in a way that they cannot return it. It’s a sport that combines speed, strategy, focus, and fitness — making it both competitive and fun for beginners and professionals alike. Tennis can be played casually with friends or at a high competitive level, and it’s a fantastic full-body workout that improves coordination, endurance, and mental sharpness

Rules:
Every point begins with a serve. The server stands behind the baseline and must hit the ball diagonally into the opponent’s service box. Each player is allowed two attempts to complete a correct serve.
Once the serve is successful, players rally by hitting the ball back and forth over the net. The ball must land within the court boundaries, and it may only bounce once before being returned. If a player fails to return the ball, hits it out of bounds, or allows it to bounce more than once, the opponent wins the point.
Players switch serving after each game, and in doubles, teammates alternate serving throughout the set.
Scoring & Winning
Tennis has a unique scoring system. Points within a game are counted as:
15 → 30 → 40 → Game
If both players reach 40, this is called Deuce. From Deuce, a player must win two consecutive points — the first point gives them “Advantage,” and winning the next point secures the game.
To win a set, a player must win at least 6 games and lead by 2 games (for example, 6–4).
Most matches are played as best of 3 sets, meaning the first player to win 2 sets wins the match.
